Game Week 7: Knockouts!
But only after a one-day break.
tldr: Semis start on Wednesday evening.
The league stage of the season draws to a close, and we’ve got our final leaderboard. Four players remain who who’ve placed first in every single one of their six quizzes so far. And perhaps more importantly, Ankit Bisht seems to be pulling ahead in the reader race, with Fiza seemingly the only other reader who has a real shot at catching him.
Game Week 7 will be the first knock-out round of the season. The entire player roster will be divvied up into brackets of 9 players each. Each bracket will see 3 games this week (it seems wrong to call them semis when there are three of them, but oh well), and only one player from each of those games will qualify for the bracket final.
We’re going to use up an extra day to prep the question set this time, so GW7 will run from Wednesday 18th 6pm to Tuesday 24th 11pm.
Draws will be posted later today too, although if you really wanted to you could probably check the leaderboard and calculate who your opponents are.1

I would not recommend this. We do need to drop some names of players who’ve missed more than 2 games this season, and that messes up the sequencing a little bit.
